As hinted at earlier this week, Apple has now released Mac OS X 10.6.8, the eighth maintenance update for Snow Leopard, via Software Update. The update offers a number of fixes implemented since the release of Mac OS X 10.6.7 in late March.

Unfortunately I think you are out of luck. I'm sure we have some older versions of our products that will work on that version of OS X, but they won't do you much good because they'll only support really old versions of iOS and/or Android and at least in the case of iOS, you won't be able to submit to the App Store because Apple will only accept builds using the latest version of Xcode (which is also not supported on OS X 10.6.8).

Technical changes in Mac OS X Snow Leopard (v10.6) and the later editions prevent Adobe from delivering a PostScript-based printer module. However, the new PDF workflow takes advantage of the PDF-based printing architecture already present in Mac OS X. By choosing Save As Adobe PDF from the PDF menu, Apple-based PDFs are converted to Adobe-quality PDFs using your JobOption settings.
Some versions of some Adobe products, such as InDesign and Illustrator CS4 or CS5, don't support the PDF menu in the Mac OS X print dialog box. For those cases, either save as (Illustrator) or export (InDesign) to a PDF file. Or, print to PostScript file and open that file with Distiller, Acrobat Professional, or Apple's Preview application. I ask because I think that Rosetta 1 was more comprehensive as Rosetta 2. For instance, the former could be used to open PowerPC applications in a virtualized Mac OS X Server 10.6.8 Snow Leopard on Intel x86 Macs. But Rosetta 2 cannot be used to open Intel x86 applications in a virtualized macOS 10.15 Catalina on Apple Silicon Macs.

The latest release of Snow Leopard, which brought the version number up to Mac OS X 10.6.8, has been out for a few weeks now and those not upgraded to Lion have been using it with relatively little issues.
It does seem though that Apple has indeed found some problems with the release, and have today made available a supplemental update to the aforementioned 10.6.8, offering bug fixes as well as bundling in the previously separate Migration Assistant update.
I've had my DX7 since 1985 and have lost all my cartridges over the last 30 years! I really want to get this plug in working! Can anyone help? I'm running Logic Pro 9 on OS 10.6.8. I've put the VST and component in their respective folders in the library but when I run the AU manager in Logic Dexed always fails. What am I doing wrong? 2ff7e9595c
